01 / The brief
On marathon weekend the whole city is out cheering for people doing something hard. Shake & Ship opens Friday at 10:00 AM with a 30-minute shakeout. No pace to hit, walkers welcome. The point is to get comfortable around people you didn't know when you showed up.
After a break, the real work starts that afternoon: an open hackathon at the intersection of music and endurance. Producers next to runners next to builders. You don't need to code. The tools are good enough now that the idea is the hard part, and the person you ran next to might be the one who gets you unstuck.
Everyone has until 11:59 PM Saturday to ship. A panel of leaders picked by Nick and Manny reviews every project.
Come for a run. Leave with something you made.
